Mugshot Publisher Directory

Identify the site behind an arrest-record result, understand what it publishes, and review realistic removal, correction, deindexing, and suppression pathways.

Publisher status and policies can change. Last reviewed September 25, 2026.

How to use this directory

Start with the exact URL—not a publisher name alone. Confirm the domain, the information displayed, the originating agency or court, the case disposition, and whether copies appear elsewhere. Individual guides are intentionally kept out of the XML sitemap until their current status and unique value are independently verified.

Important distinction

A booking page reports an arrest event. It does not establish guilt, and it may not show what happened after the arrest.

Resolution paths to evaluate

  • Correct inaccurate identity, charge, date, or disposition information
  • Ask the publisher to update or remove an eligible record
  • Confirm whether the originating public record has changed
  • Use an eligible search-engine policy or outdated-content process
  • Build accurate, authoritative results when removal is unavailable
  • Monitor for mirrors and republication

Frequently asked questions

Does this directory guarantee that a publisher will remove a page?+

No. It helps identify the publisher and possible pathways. Eligibility depends on the exact URL, current policy, accuracy, case outcome, jurisdiction, and evidence.

Why are some publishers described as historical?+

Mugshot sites frequently change ownership, domains, policies, or operating status. A historical label prevents an old brand name from being presented as a currently active publisher without verification.

Does an arrest record prove a conviction?+

No. An arrest is not a conviction. A booking page may omit later dismissal, acquittal, reduction, sealing, expungement, or other disposition.

Can Google remove a mugshot result?+

Google may remove eligible results under specific policies or applicable law. Deindexing affects Google visibility; it does not delete the publisher page.

What should I send for a review?+

Send the exact publisher URL, the Google result if relevant, the jurisdiction, approximate arrest date, and documents showing the current case outcome. Avoid unrelated sensitive information.
